The RESOLUTION project – Rural Empowerment and Strategic Opportunities for Young Leaders United Towards Innovation and Networking – was created with the goal of strengthening the role of young people in local governance, providing concrete opportunities for participation and innovation in rural areas. The title reflects the project’s vision: Rural Empowerment → to equip young people living in rural areas with the tools to influence local policies and enhance their territories (Youth Goal 9). Strategic Opportunities → to provide training opportunities, exchanges, and networking to develop the skills of young people involved in the project (Youth Goal 4). Young Leaders United → to create a strong network of young political decision-makers and local activists. Innovation and Networking → to experiment with new spaces and models of youth governance—such as Rural Youth Councils—and fostering connections with European networks (Youth Goal 6).
