“At school of citizenships" is a 13 months project involving the "IIS Settimo" students in an experience of active citizenship. The project wants to offer at the students the opportunity to act concretely within the school system through a participatory budgeting in a way that we tackle the feeling of apathy towards the school. With that being sad, the project aims to: -Enhance the students’ self-esteem in their capacity to affect the reality thanks to a process of active citizenship education as well as fostering their soft skills -Enhance students’ trust towards adult and public institution and at the same time promoting to the institution a positive view of the youths -fostering youth participation in the democratic life and in the decisional process as well as fostering democratic values, the knowledge of the political system through a practical experience -Developing the skills of the youngster involved in particular we aim to help the youth to develop a critical thinking
