The SheLeads project aims to strengthen young women’s political participation in local and regional decision-making processes, reducing structural, social, and economic barriers that limit their access. The main objectives are: 1) developing leadership, advocacy, and institutional communication skills among young participants; 2) creating dialogue spaces between young women and policymakers, fostering direct discussions on barriers to governance access; 3) producing a policy paper with concrete proposals to improve youth and female representation in decision-making processes, ensuring a structural impact beyond the project’s duration. The initiative seeks to transform participants into change agents, capable of influencing local policies and inspiring other young women to pursue leadership roles.
