Our objectives are to: Enhance our professional competences by acquiring expertise in forest therapy and holistic self-care practices to address burnout, promote mental well-being for social workers and seniors. Develop and implement 3 new and 1–2 updated training programs, integrating the new methodologies to promote resilience, stress management, and active aging. Strengthen international collaboration by fostering partnerships that support long-term knowledge exchange and program improvement.
VšĮ EDUKACINIAI PROJEKTAI applied to strengthen its capacity in supporting the emotional well-being of social workers and seniors by integrating innovative practices such as forest therapy and holistic self-care. A 2024 survey of 115 social workers and focus groups with seniors highlighted the need for training in resilience and emotional balance. By participating in this project, we aim to address burnout, promote healthy aging, and enhance our programs by adopting international methodologies.
