Objectives

Through this project, we aim to empower mature-aged participants to reduce risk factors for successful aging. We will encourage a holistic approach, helping them adapt to age-related changes, maintain physical health and activity, rely on the value of a healthy diet, nurture intellectual and creative development, foster spirituality, ensure emotional and psychological balance, strengthen social connections, and engage in community activities, while living harmoniously and sustainably in nature.

Background

In today's world of global challenges and changes, adult education in Lithuania is becoming increasingly important. The priorities of the Anykščiai Education Support Service are influenced by the growing number of older adults in the region. Education about risk factors for successful aging and how to reduce them will help older people to improve their physical, psychological, emotional quality of life and social welfare.
