The main goal of the project was to support young people in improving their mental well-being and building stronger connections through shared experiences and creative activities. The project aimed to provide practical tools for managing stress, expressing emotions and developing self-awareness, while also promoting intercultural understanding and active participation. From the preparation phase, participants were actively involved in shaping the programme. Based on their skills and interests, they were given the opportunity to prepare and lead sessions during the exchange. This increased their motivation, sense of responsibility and active engagement in the learning process. The project focused on several key objectives. Participants developed practical techniques for stress management through breathing exercises, body awareness activities and time spent in nature. Through art therapy and reflection sessions, they explored their emotions, personal goals and self-confidence. Outdoor activities, including a digital detox hike without phones, helped them experience the positive impact of nature and being offline on mental well-being. Participants also explored mental health challenges in their countries through national presentations and group discussions. They identified common issues such as stigma, lack of emotional education and the impact of social media, while also sharing coping strategies and good practices. Intercultural learning was strengthened through mixed international teamwork, where participants created short films about mental health and culture. In total, participants produced several short films and actively contributed to workshops and group activities. The project also addressed the impact of social media and technology, helping participants reflect on their daily habits and develop healthier usage strategies. In addition, participants learned about Erasmus+ opportunities and developed their own youth exchange ideas, increasing their motivation for future engagement. The project ensured inclusion of participants with fewer opportunities, including those facing social and communication barriers and a visually impaired participant, who were actively supported and fully involved in all activities. The project also contributed to Erasmus+ priorities such as inclusion, sustainability, digital awareness and active participation. As a result, participants gained practical skills, increased self-awareness and developed stronger communication and cooperation competences. Many reported concrete changes in their daily habits, such as reducing screen time, spending more time in nature and applying stress management techniques. Participants also expressed motivation to organise local activities on mental health and well-being in their communities after the project.
