Objectives

The implementation of this project aims to enhance the competencies of youth workers, improve inclusive youth work practices, and promote innovative methods for working with young people with disabilities. The project will create a long-term impact on professional development, organizational capacity, and the quality of services provided to youth with disabilities. Objectives are: equip youth workers with practical and innovative methods (Fractal drawing method & Music-movement therapy) to support young people with disabilities. Improve the ability of youth workers to facilitate creative, engaging, and therapeutic activities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Strengthen non-formal education techniques that support self-expression, cognitive development, and emotional regulation. Provide youth workers with new tools to communicate and interact effectively with young people with autism, intellectual disabilities, and other special needs. Foster a deeper understanding of diverse learning styles and how to adapt youth work methods accordingly. Establish a strong partnership between Mirabilia (Lithuania) and Zavod Modri December (Slovenia) for continued Erasmus+ collaboration. Strengthen international networks in the field of inclusive youth work, increasing opportunities for future projects. Integrate the newly learned art and music therapy techniques into the daily practices of both organizations. Support youth workers in training their colleagues and volunteers, ensuring sustainability beyond the project. Promote the importance of alternative education and therapy techniques for youth with disabilities. Engage local communities, schools, and policymakers to encourage the adoption of creative youth work approaches. Organize public events, workshops, and media campaigns to showcase the success of the project and inspire others. We want to achieve that youth workers gain hands-on experience with new inclusive methods. New therapy techniques are integrated into regular youth work practices. More accessible and engaging programs are created for young people with disabilities. Stronger cross-border partnerships are formed for future Erasmus+ initiatives. A long-lasting impact on inclusion is made within local and European youth work. By implementing this project, we aim to improve the quality and effectiveness of youth work for young people with disabilities, ensuring greater participation, empowerment, and social integration.
