Objectives

The project aims to address the geographical, economic, and social exclusion experienced by young people from the Varėna region. It will provide 5 young participants (Motiejus, Morta, Barbora, Ūlė, Gabrielė) with the opportunity to travel across Europe through the DiscoverEU program. The project will involve preparation activities where the participants will plan the trip, assign roles and responsibilities, and share their personal experiences. During the trip, the participants will film and edit a short documentary. After the trip, the participants will organize experience-sharing events in their community to present their learnings and the documentary film. The project aims to reduce the isolation of less-advantaged youth by promoting inclusion, tolerance, and intercultural learning. It seeks to educate participants about different cultures, architecture, sustainability, and free modes of travel while supporting their personal development. Additionally, the project strengthens YouthPass competencies and introduces young people to European values and opportunities. What are the objectives of your project?
