Objectives

Our "Art Against Hate Speech" Erasmus+ project aimed to combat online and offline hate speech through art and non-formal education. Our idea with our partners and their young members was inspired in another project, by discussion based on the No Hate Speech Movement and growing concerns over hate speech targeting vulnerable groups. Our project's main youth exchange activity brought together 42 participants and 6 partner organizations to exchange best practices and explore national approaches to addressing hate speech. Our project activities used artistic expression, including drawings, paintings, dance, and digital media, to raise awareness and encourage social change. Participants created media campaigns, posters, and online content to define hate speech and propose solutions. The daily activities during the youth exchange have been shared in our instagram page, also reshared by our partner organizations social media channels: https://www.instagram.com/uyc.lux.projects?igsh=MXgxYXNpMGN4Zzlpdw== Our outcomes have been used by participants and partner organization in folow-up phase, uploaded in a common platform in below cloud: - Songs: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/1/folders/1xmglMN8x8b_jdLHAsT1zcvj7H4kibsnA - Theater: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/1/folders/1UFwODmUtu4RI1l4kKwAY8aPHE2so0Oud - Team videos: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/1/folders/1Z9RBdneaiCra-C9n4XA1uP98j4nmlCHX The moments and outcomes from follow up and dissemination activities have been uploaded in below common cloud as well as publicized by partner organizations pages: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/1/folders/1t-KzdMJqeJawyNownbc1cbPt9uVZzb2C Different creative contents, mini-documentaries and interviews with local communities in Luxembourg documented personal stories and perspectives on hate speech. Through these activities, the project sought to foster unity among young people, develop practical tools for countering hate speech, and encourage participants to implement local initiatives upon returning home. The goal was to create a lasting impact both in Luxembourg and in the partner countries, promoting inclusivity and tolerance through creative activism. Therefore our participants crafted campaigns using our outcomes to increase project visibility and reach the objectives: - https://www.instagram.com/reel/DQEaxkBCKbi/?igsh=NHdvcWsyNnB5MHdz - https://www.instagram.com/reel/DQRFhGYje-A/?igsh=N3VtZDQ0Y3EwdXpr
