The project aimed to strengthen young people’s understanding of democratic principles, promote European values, and encourage active participation in civic life. It addressed challenges faced by youth in Latvia and Georgia, including exposure to misinformation, limited opportunities for civic engagement, and, in some cases, declining trust in democratic institutions. The project’s main objectives were to EDUCATE participants about democracy, human rights, and civic engagement; CONNECT youth from different cultural backgrounds to foster intercultural dialogue and European solidarity; INSPIRE young people to become active, responsible citizens; and EQUIP them with practical skills to counter misinformation and initiate positive change. Through interactive activities, workshops, study visits, and community initiatives, participants developed leadership, teamwork, and project-management skills, while partner organizations strengthened cooperation and shared good practices in youth work. The project empowered young people to bridge cultural divides, promote democratic values, and contribute to stronger, more resilient communities in both countries.
