By implementing this project, we aimed to promote young people’s emotional well-being, self-expression, and understanding of the diversity of emotions, while also reducing societal stereotypes about how young people “should” feel and behave. The goal of the project was to create a safe and supportive environment where young people could freely express their emotions without fear of criticism or judgment, as well as learn healthy ways to manage them. Through various forms of artistic self-expression – including visual arts, music, dance, theatre, filmmaking and podcast creation – we sought to strengthen young people’s ability to understand and manage their emotions, develop communication and cooperation skills, and build self-confidence. At the same time, the project aimed to foster a more open and inclusive attitude in society towards emotional expression, particularly in relation to gender roles, while encouraging greater youth participation and supporting positive long-term mental well-being.
