The main aim of the E-Motion Exchange project was to encourage young people to adopt a more active, balanced and healthy lifestyle by integrating physical activity, mental well-being and social connection into their everyday lives. The project objectives were: to increase young people’s motivation to be physically active and reduce sedentary behaviour and excessive screen time; to raise awareness about healthy nutrition and its impact on physical and mental well-being; to strengthen young people’s mental resilience, self-awareness and self-confidence through non-formal learning methods; to empower young people to take responsibility for their own learning and personal development and to become active promoters of healthy lifestyle habits in their local communities; to develop leadership, teamwork and communication skills by involving participants in peer-led activities and workshops; to promote inclusion by engaging young people with fewer opportunities and ensuring equal access to international mobility experiences. By combining movement-based activities, outdoor experiences, mental health discussions and intercultural exchange, the project aimed to create long-lasting changes in young people’s attitudes towards their health and well-being and to equip them with practical tools they can use after the end of the project.
