Objectives

Project Objectives and Goals The primary goal of this project is to equip youth workers with the necessary tools, methods, and competences to promote and sustain gender equality in youth work. By integrating gender-sensitive approaches into educational and social practices, the project aims to address structural inequalities and foster inclusive youth environments. Main Objectives: Raise awareness about existing gender inequalities: Participants will gain a deeper understanding of gender-based disparities and their implications for youth work and society at large. Develop a shared understanding of gender equality: Through interactive sessions and practical discussions, participants will explore the social, economic, and cultural dimensions of gender equality and its impact on youth work. Exchange experiences and best practices: Partners will share their experiences and successful strategies in fostering gender equality, enabling participants to adapt these practices in their local communities. Establish new collaborations and partnerships: The project will facilitate networking opportunities, encouraging participants to form strategic partnerships aimed at promoting gender equality in youth work. Inspire innovative and inclusive approaches: Youth workers will be motivated to adapt and transform their methods and tools to make them gender-inclusive, thereby fostering more equitable practices in youth engagement. Expected Outcomes: The project will contribute to the development of a new generation of youth workers who are capable of integrating gender equality as a core principle in their work. Participants will return to their organizations with enhanced knowledge and skills, leading to more inclusive youth environments and fostering a culture of equality and respect. By aligning with key European initiatives, such as the EU Gender Equality Strategy 2020-2025 and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the project aims to create lasting socio-economic impacts. Through capacity building and international cooperation, it will contribute to sustainable development, social inclusion, and increased employability for youth workers. The project aspires to become a strategic actor in the field of youth work, offering solutions that foster positive social transformations and advance the agenda for gender equality across Europe.
