Objectives

The European Training Strategy (ETS) Competence Model for Youth Workers in International Settings identifies programme development as one of its nine competence areas, with a key knowledge component being an understanding of project management principles. Therefore, the main goal of the "Project Management Cookbook" project is to provide inexperienced or less experienced youth workers, youth organization representatives, and youth leaders with the knowledge and skills necessary for understanding the fundamentals of project management—from idea creation and planning to implementation and evaluation. Additionally, the project aims to explore existing digital tools to improve project management efficiency at every stage. Project Objectives: ➤ Provide youth workers, youth organization representatives, and youth leaders with project management knowledge and skills to effectively design, plan, implement, and evaluate youth projects. ➤ Explore digital and AI tools at all stages of project management and promote their use to improve efficiency and effectiveness in both international and local youth projects. ➤ Strengthen the capacity of youth organizations by increasing their knowledge of project management and improving efficiency through digital tools. ➤ Foster knowledge exchange and collaboration between youth organizations, youth workers, and youth leaders from different countries, improving project management practices in an intercultural context and collectively strengthening youth work and initiatives. ➤ Encourage long-term partnerships among participating organizations, promoting cooperation in project management training and youth development initiatives. ➤ Make the project management handbook "Project Management Kitchen: A Different Recipe Book" (RED, 2012) internationally accessible by translating it into English, updating its content, and supplementing it with modern digital and AI tools researched within the project.
