The training course "Youth for Impact" aimed to empower youth workers and young leaders from 6 countries - Latvia, Italy, Armenia, Czechia, Slovenia, and Ukraine with a social entrepreneurship mindset and practical competences needed to address modern youth challenges. The project was designed in response to identified needs among youth workers, particularly limited experience in developing sustainable solutions, identifying community needs, and measuring social impact. By addressing these gaps, the project contributed to the professional development of youth workers and supported social inclusion of young people through high-quality, inclusive initiatives. We successfully achieved the following objectives: 1.Introduced fundamental concepts of social entrepreneurship, helping youth workers understand business principles and how to apply them in developing their own project ideas. 2.Equipped participants with practical competencies in project management, financial literacy, and marketing, through hands-on activities and group work, enabling them to guide young people in their own communities. 3.Provided hands-on knowledge through meetings with Armenian social entrepreneurs, which gave participants a real-life perspective on current social solutions. 4.Facilitated a collaborative experience where participants created concrete social enterprise models in international teams, putting their newly acquired skills into immediate practice. 5.Established a sustainable network of like-minded organizations for ongoing exchange and international collaboration on social entrepreneurship and more. 6.Developed follow-up plans to ensure the project’s impact continued through improved youth work practices and new initiatives. As a result, 5 project ideas were developed, of which 2 progressed into follow-up project applications, ensuring continued impact beyond the training. As part of ensuring sustainability and dissemination of results a digital project book was created in two languages, detailing the activities and methodologies used during the training course. It was shared through partner networks, as well as platforms such as EPALE, SALTO-YOUTH, and social media. Ultimately, the project addressed the specific needs of youth workers and young leaders from Latvia, Italy, Armenia, Czechia, Slovenia, and Ukraine by strengthening their key competences, including sense of initiative, entrepreneurship, and digital skills, while also improving their intercultural awareness and motivation for non-formal learning. As a concrete result, 16 participants worked in international teams to develop 4 social enterprise models during the training. Participants also shared their learning at local level, contributing to the wider use of project results within their organisations and communities. In line with Erasmus+ priorities, the project supported the development of leadership and entrepreneurial thinking, helping youth workers apply more practical and innovative approaches in their daily work.
