Objectives

This project aims to significantly improve youth work at Rūjiena Youth Centre and across Valmieras region. Key objectives, from a youth work practice perspective, include: Elevating Youth Work Quality: By studying best practices in Spain and Bulgaria, we will refine our methods and approaches to working with young people. Innovative techniques will be implemented to enhance youth engagement and development, prioritizing youth participation. Fostering Sustainable Collaboration: A collaborative model will be developed between Rūjiena Youth Centre, Valmieras municipality, and local NGOs. This model will optimize resource allocation and address youth employment and participation issues. Expanding Youth Opportunities: New methods and approaches will increase opportunities for young people to participate in activities and gain practical experience. We will offer a wider range of activities and encourage youth initiative and ideas. Enhancing Youth Worker Competencies: Study visits will upgrade participants' knowledge and skills in youth work, social entrepreneurship, and collaboration with municipalities and NGOs. These enhanced competencies will be integrated into daily work, improving youth work quality and efficiency. Raising the Youth Centre's Profile: Project results will be publicized to enhance Rūjiena Youth Centre's visibility and promote regional youth work. This will attract more young people and resources to the centre. This project strives for a lasting and substantial positive impact on youth work in Rūjiena and Valmieras region, improving quality, innovation, and recognition, while simultaneously expanding opportunities for young people.
