The project's goal is to promote dialogue between youth and decision-makers, enhancing young people's understanding of decision-making in Kuldīga municipality and fostering civic competence. A 2024 sociological study shows that only 23% of Kuldīga's youth feel they can influence municipal decisions. To change this, the project will organize activities to familiarize them with local governance and decision-making. Key objectives: -Increase youth awareness of EU decision-making and Erasmus+ impact, developing their knowledge, skills, and attitudes toward civic engagement. -Provide opportunities through job shadowing and informal events to understand municipal decision-makers' work. -Organize a hackathon and simulation to develop strategic thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration, enabling youth to turn ideas into real solutions.
