The project has three main objectives, aligning well and feeding into ongoing or upcoming work by the NSC: 1. To foster internationalisation and its institutional development, together with other entities active in the fields of skills development and VET; 2. To develop a Skills Intelligence Framework and Action Plan; 3. To acquire further competences in validation of non-formal and informal learning.
'Recognising Skills, Anticipating and Empowering Futures' shall assist staff working at the National Skills Council (NSC) to build capacity to obtain the necessary knowledge, skills and competences to fulfill its mandate at the national level. VET is key to address skills shortages resulting form the rapid rate of change in the world of work. This project shall help develop Malta's skills governance system, to anticipate future skills needs and strengthen its validation system.
