Objectives

Through this Youth Exchange, we aimed to empower young people to better understand, challenge, and prevent stereotypes, discrimination, and social exclusion in their communities. The project brought together 24 young people from Malta, Spain, Türkiye, and Latvia, including 50% participants with fewer opportunities, to promote inclusion, equality, and intercultural dialogue. Our main objectives were to: *Increase awareness of discrimination, religious diversity, radicalisation, and LGBTQ+ inclusion. *Strengthen intercultural understanding and cooperation among young people from different backgrounds. *Develop participants’ critical thinking, communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. *Promote democratic values, equality, and active citizenship. *Encourage young people to become more confident in expressing their opinions and taking action in their communities. *Create concrete educational tools (four board games) to address inclusion and diversity topics in a creative and accessible way. *Strengthen European identity and participants’ sense of belonging to a shared European community. By using non-formal education methods and shared facilitation, the project ensured active participation, peer learning, and meaningful competence development. The exchange aimed not only to provide an intercultural experience but also to create long-term impact through sustainable educational outputs and continued dissemination activities.
