Objectives

The project aimed to empower young people to become more environmentally responsible, socially active, and entrepreneurially minded through a youth exchange focused on circular economy and upcycling. Our main objective was to increase young people’s awareness of environmental challenges and equip them with practical skills to promote sustainable lifestyles in their communities. We wanted participants to understand how waste reduction, reuse, and green entrepreneurship can contribute to climate action and local development. The project also aimed to strengthen intercultural dialogue and European cooperation by bringing together young people from different countries to work in mixed teams. Through non-formal learning methods, participants developed teamwork, communication, digital, and entrepreneurial competences. A strong priority of the project was inclusion. We aimed to ensure meaningful participation of young people with fewer opportunities by providing supportive preparation, mentoring, and equal involvement in all activities. Overall, the project sought to combine environmental sustainability, youth empowerment, and international cooperation within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme.
