The project aimed to strengthen young people’s active participation in environmental issues and democratic life by creating opportunities for meaningful engagement at local and international levels. The main objective was to empower young people to better understand environmental challenges and to actively contribute to solutions through dialogue, collaboration, and participation. The project focused on developing participants’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes related to environmental sustainability, civic engagement, and intercultural cooperation. A key objective was to connect young people with decision-makers, enabling them to express their views, exchange ideas, and better understand how participation can influence decision-making processes. Through this, the project aimed to foster a stronger sense of active citizenship and responsibility. Another important objective was to promote inclusion by ensuring participation of young people with diverse backgrounds, including those with fewer opportunities, and to provide them with equal opportunities to engage, learn, and contribute. Finally, the project aimed to create a sustainable impact by transferring learning from the international mobility to local communities through Youth Participation Events, ensuring that knowledge and outcomes were applied in real-life contexts and reached a wider group of young people.
