The project aims to empower young people with disabilities by building their confidence, independence, and practical skills through international travel and digital storytelling. By documenting their interactions with animals across five different countries, participants will develop videography and storytelling abilities while expressing their unique perspectives. The project promotes inclusion by challenging societal perceptions of disabilities, showcasing accessible travel experiences, and fostering cross-cultural understanding. Additionally, it enhances youth work practice by providing inclusive methodologies, developing a replicable model for digital media engagement, and strengthening international collaboration among youth organizations. Through meaningful interactions with animals, the project also highlights the therapeutic benefits of nature and promotes eco-conscious travel. Ultimately, the videos created will serve as a lasting resource to inspire greater accessibility in tourism, influence policy changes, and build an inclusive digital community for young people with disabilities.
