Objectives

The project aimed to boost girls’ confidence and skills in STEAM, connect them with female role models, develop teamwork and digital skills in an intercultural setting, and test a sustainable mobility model combining mentoring, role modelling and hands-on STEAM learning.

Background

Many female VET students face barriers in STEAM, such as low confidence, limited exposure to women in technical fields and few chances to work across cultures. The STEAM Challenge was created to give female VET students a strong, confidence-building STEAM experience by combining hands-on making, role-model interaction and structured mentoring in one programme.
