The EU faces several challenges in improving the quality of education and training for young people. This project introduces advanced teaching and learning practices, encouraging trainers and educators to step outside their comfort zones and exchange experiences. As a result, this project will contribute to the professional development of educators. Young people in the EU are grappling with various mental health issues. Academic pressures, societal expectations, and the fast-paced digital world have led to increased stress, anxiety, and depression. To address these issues, a comprehensive approach is needed, incorporating education and support systems to promote the well-being of young people. This project helps promote a more active lifestyle for young people through outdoor education and experiential learning. The skills participants will gain from this project will foster personal growth, problem-solving abilities, and a greater appreciation for outdoor education. These skills will not only improve their own well-being but also empower them to share their knowledge with other young people, promoting mental, social, and physical health. Additionally, these learning methods will help participants become more effective educators and trainers. "Breath outside live inside" addresses various mental health challenges faced by young people today, such as physical inactivity, anxiety, OCD, stress, depression, lack of skills and confidence, and FOMO (fear of missing out). Through this project, participants will learn about outdoor education and adopt a healthier lifestyle, sharing their insights with peers in their communities. The project aims to create a community of educators focused on nurturing mental health through nature, fostering personal growth, resilience, and a holistic approach to education. "Outdoor Soul" will guide participants on a transformative journey beyond the classroom, recognizing the powerful impact of nature on mental health and its potential to foster a more mindful and connected society. The objectives of the project are as follows: - To equip youth workers with knowledge of outdoor adventure education, focusing on stress management, mental health, wellness, and building healthy routines. - To create a supportive learning space for sharing experiences, adopting positive habits, and enhancing emotional intelligence in youth work. - To develop key skills in trip planning, safety, first aid, and risk management for leading outdoor educational activities. - To explore the use of digital tools and social media in engaging youth and promoting positive change. - To encourage cultural exchange and collaboration in a multicultural setting, enhancing cross-cultural communication skills. - To deepen understanding of the Erasmus+ Programme and its potential for professional development in outdoor education.
