Objectives

Lead with ImpACT is dedicated to advancing the professional growth of youth workers and strengthening the capacity of partner organizations by enhancing their entrepreneurial skills. This includes entrepreneurial thinking, professional expertise, organizational management, strategic planning, financial literacy, effective communication, and initiative. Our goal is to develop an innovative training program that equips youth workers with practical business skills, project management tools, and the ability to foster economic opportunities for young people. Due to the current socio-economic crisis, many experienced professionals have left the youth work sector in search of financial stability, creating a gap that younger youth workers must now fill. At the same time, young people—despite obtaining higher education—struggle to enter the job market due to the mismatch between their academic knowledge and the practical skills demanded by employers. This results in stagnation, lack of career development, and the necessity to take lower paying jobs, far below their potential. Many young professionals experience uncertainty and frustration, facing key obstacles such as a lack of entrepreneurial and business-related skills, limited work experience, inadequate soft skills, job market instability, and lack of guidance and mentorship. Without the right support, they often struggle with financial insecurity, career uncertainty, and self-doubt, leading them to abandon their ambitions in favor of low-paid, unfulfilling jobs that do not utilize their full potential. This project recognizes that effective youth work requires practical solutions to these challenges. By empowering youth workers with entrepreneurial skills, we equip them to support young people in developing career strategies, financial independence, and resilience in a changing job market. Through a handson, businessoriented training approach, we will provide youth workers with entrepreneurial skills to guide young people in career planning, business development, and self-employment opportunities. The program will focus on creating practical learning experiences, developing financial literacy, introducing mentoring systems, and enhancing adaptability and problem-solving skills. By strengthening these competencies, youth workers will be better prepared to support young people in overcoming employment barriers and taking control of their professional futures. -Support the professional growth of 32 youth workers (with 50% coming from disadvantaged backgrounds) with tools so they can effectively support young people in navigating the labor market. -- to improve their entrepreneurial skills and support the professional development of these youth workers -Strengthen the organizational capacity of 8 NGOs from Latvia, Estonia, Czechia, Greece, the Netherlands, Italy, Bulgaria, and Spain by equipping youth workers with business-oriented strategies and financial sustainability tools. -Create a supportive professional network, encouraging collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing among youth workers and organizations. -Disseminate best practices through 8 events, 8 articles, and 8 videos, ensuring the widespread impact of the project. -Evaluate the effectiveness of the project using 32 Youthpasses and participant feedback surveys to track professional growth and long-term impact. By focusing on entrepreneurship and professional development, Lead with ImpACT empowers youth workers with the tools and confidence to create sustainable initiatives, navigate financial challenges, and support young people in building their economic futures. This project is a direct response to the challenges of youth unemployment, career stagnation, and the evolving labor market, ensuring that young professionals receive the support they need to thrive, innovate, and unlock their full potential.
