We aim to acquire knowledge that enables us to develop methods, tools, and courses aimed at VET trainers, so they can assist more people with developmental disabilities and other cognitive variations into meaningful work or education.
Many people with developmental disabilities and/or cognitive variations do not receive adequate career guidance, either because the competence of the VET trainers working with the target group is insufficient, or because there is a lack of tools. We want to develop courses and competencies that can strengthen the career guidance skills of VEt trainers for the target group, so that more people can enter work and education, and thereby utilize their potential as contributors in the worklife.
