The main objective of the project was to improve the digital competences of seniors and strengthen their safety and independence in the use of digital technologies. Participants developed skills related to cybersecurity, recognizing disinformation, safe use of online banking, and conscious consumption of online content. From the Foundation’s perspective, the project made it possible to expand the educational offer addressed to senior learners.
The foundation carries out activities in the field of non-formal education, social activation, and support for adults, including seniors, in developing the competences needed for active participation in contemporary society. The project expanded the foundation’s local activities by introducing intensive digital education and practical preparation of seniors for the safe use of new technologies and conscious responses to cyber threats, which took place during the transnational mobility.
