The main aim of the project was to improve the digital skills of older people with low basic skills and to combat their social and technological exclusion. We sought to boost their confidence in using technology through practical, engaging educational activities. Another key objective was to enhance the methodological skills of our staff by observing the work of the Portuguese organisation and adapting new teaching methods (innovative tools).
The beneficiary is a non-profit non-governmental organisation whose main activities focus on non-formal education for vulnerable groups. We primarily carry out initiatives aimed at developing key digital skills, supporting young people with special educational needs and older adults. The project formed part of our core activities – its implementation provided an opportunity to tackle the digital divide among older learners and to expand our range of services.
