Discrimination and violence against sexual minorities, primarily LGBTQ+, remains a burning issue across both the EU member countries and non-member states. For all the recognition and assurances via legal protections, and international agreements, homophobia, transphobia, and all kinds of discrimination continue to tear down the rights and well-being of the LGBTQ+ communities.The objective of our initiative is to motivate youth to put up a fight against discrimination, promote tolerance, protect the rights of the LGBT community and raise awareness within society. Our goal is to create a change that is influential and sustainable by looking for the causes that lead to the discrimination and violence against the community of LGBTQ+ individuals. Our goal will be to make everyone inclusive and equitable without sexual orientation or gender identity constraints where every type of person are treated equally and with dignity. We see the future whereby the youth play the role of the front runners in promoting tolerance, protecting human rights, and creating an atmosphere of acceptance within their communities. Raising awareness and understanding equalities of the LGBTQ+ community is our key objective in order to promote inclusive environment. By breakig stereotypes and prejudice, we aim to create the platform of free and open dialogue which on the one hand is intended to increase awareness and understanding of the sexual orientation and gender identity issues. Project implementation includes promote tolerance and Inclusivity as we are committed to fostering the principles of accepting, respecting and inclusion among youth. Through promoting the sense of empathy and understanding, we can establish safe and culturally rich environments in which sexual minorities can be their authentic selves and live without concerns of discrimination. Youth empowerment stays one of the core objective of our project, and in order to achieve the most tangible outcomes during implementation of the project, we are engaging participants with diverse backgrounds and experiences. Such an approach allows us to integrate the aims that should lead to the desired objectives of the project: Raise awareness and comprehension of the rights of LGBT+ community and give individuals the resources they need to advocate for those rights, both legally and socially. To identify high-profile cases that have occurred in each project participant countries and to find solutions to minimize the number of intolerant and discriminating societal attitudes To spread the ideas of tolerance, rule of law, peaceful coexistence and democracy to demonstrate to our communities that everyone, regardless of sexual orientation, political viewpoint, religious affiliation, or country of origin, is a member of the same society and enjoys the same rights as a whole population. Our goals are to ensure that young people are given the skills and materials to make them the leaders of change and for the creation of an inclusive and more equitable society for all. In order to meet the objectives of the youth exchange, a number of interactive workshops on LGBT+ rights will be presented, which will be accomplished by dispelling stereotypes and prejudices, showcasing movies, followed by educational conversations led by experts.
