Our project's main aim is to promote healthy lifestyles and improve mental well-being among young people by equipping them with practical tools to integrate physical activity into their daily lives. Through non-formal education, the project will encourage young people to take an active role in their communities by advocating for physical activity as a means of mental resilience and overall well-being. From our collaboration with partners who have connections with youth and educational centers we want to create a long lasting impact on mental health and well-being in our society. Together we want to put focus on bridging the gap between digital life and real-world interaction, helping participants find a balance between screen time and physical activity and address the global decline in physical activity among young people, particularly in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. By equipping our participants with the tools to combat this problem, we hope to not only change their lives, but ignite a spark within them that will drive them to change the lives of those around them, thus working to bring about change throughout society. We want them to be ambassadors for healthy lifestyles beyond the project itself. Objectives of the project To raise awareness about the benefits of physical activity for improving mental health and well-being. To empower individuals with tools and strategies to manage stress, anxiety, and emotional challenges through sports and physical exercise. To encourage healthy lifestyle habits by showing the connection between physical activity and mental resilience To foster the exchange of best practices and experiences in using sports as a tool for mental well-being across different cultures and communities. To inspire local actors to become advocates for using physical activity as a means of promoting both physical and mental health. To empower participants to act as ambassadors of mental health through sports in their local communities.
