Objectives

The main aim of the project was to strengthen the competences of youth workers and young professionals in supporting young people on their path towards employment. Through the project, we wanted to provide participants with practical tools, methods, and knowledge that would help them better understand the challenges young people face when entering the labour market and enable them to offer more effective support in their local communities. The project focused on improving participants’ skills in areas such as career guidance, CV and cover letter preparation, interview techniques, communication, and personal development. Another important objective was to promote the use of non-formal education methods and equip participants with practical activities that they can later adapt and implement in their own organisations and youth work settings. We also aimed to create a space for international exchange, where participants could share experiences, compare realities from different countries, and learn from each other's good practices. By working in multicultural teams, participants strengthened their intercultural competences, cooperation skills, and understanding of different approaches to youth work and employability. A further objective was to increase the capacity of participating organisations to address employment-related topics and to encourage future cooperation at European level. Through networking, exchange of methods, and development of follow-up ideas, the project contributed to building stronger partnerships and creating opportunities for future joint initiatives. Ultimately, the project sought to create a positive long-term impact on young people by empowering youth workers with the knowledge, confidence, and resources needed to support young people in making informed decisions about their education, career paths, and future opportunities.
