The project "Building Bridges through Non-Violent Communication" was developed in response to the needs of youth workers, who are increasingly facing communication difficulties, conflicts, young people's emotional challenges, and issues arising from cultural diversity. The main objective of the project was to equip participants with practical Nonviolent Communication (NVC) skills that they could apply both in their daily professional work and in their personal lives. We wanted participants to learn how to listen to young people more effectively, identify their needs, respond without judgment, and build relationships based on trust and mutual respect. Particular emphasis was placed on developing active listening, empathy, intercultural communication, and conflict resolution skills without the use of verbal violence. Another important objective was to strengthen participants' competences in working with young people with fewer opportunities. We wanted to demonstrate that NVC can be an effective tool for supporting young people at risk of social exclusion, those from diverse cultural backgrounds, and individuals who find it difficult to express their emotions. The project also had an organisational dimension. We aimed to establish a sustainable network of cooperation between the partner organisations and to develop methods and educational materials that could continue to be used after the mobility activity had ended. Another important objective was to implement local follow-up and dissemination activities, ensuring that the project's results reached a wider audience.
