"BOOST of POWER" was designed as a long-term learning process aimed at strengthening the competences of youth workers in supporting young people's self-esteem, resilience and personal development. The project brought together participants and organisations from Poland, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Latvia, Bulgaria and Italy, creating a space for international cooperation, mutual learning and exchange of good practices. The project was developed in response to a growing need identified by partner organisations working with young people. Partners observed that many young people struggle with low self-esteem, lack of self-confidence, social pressure, uncertainty about the future and difficulties in coping with challenges and setbacks. These issues were further intensified by recent social, economic and geopolitical developments affecting young people across Europe and the South Caucasus region. The main objective of the project was to increase the capacity of youth workers to support the healthy self-esteem and resilience of young people through non-formal education. To achieve this goal, the project sought to provide participants with practical methods, tools and educational approaches that could be directly transferred into their daily youth work practice. More specifically, the project aimed to: - improve participants' knowledge and understanding of self-esteem, resilience and wellbeing; - strengthen their competences in designing and facilitating educational activities related to these topics; - provide opportunities to test and exchange non-formal education methods and tools; - promote intercultural learning and mutual understanding between participants from different cultural and geopolitical contexts; - encourage the transfer of learning into local youth work practice through follow-up activities; - strengthen cooperation between partner organisations and support the development of future international initiatives; - create practical educational resources that could continue to be used after the project. The project was implemented through two international mobility activities and one complementary activity focused on the development and dissemination of the “BOOST ME” educational cards. Together, these activities created a coherent learning pathway that combined personal development, professional growth, practical application and international cooperation. Beyond the immediate learning outcomes, the project also aimed to contribute to the wider development of youth work by promoting strengths-based approaches, supporting inclusion, encouraging active participation and providing youth workers with innovative tools to help young people recognise their potential and build resilience in an increasingly complex world.
