The “Creative Life Design Lab” project will take place in Nieborów, Poland, from the 22nd to 31st of August 2025 (including 2 travel days). The main aim of this TC is to develop the competencies (knowledge, skills, and attitudes) of creative confidence and innovation, of 24 European youth workers to equip them with the tools and method - Design Thinking (DT) - helpful in designing the personal and professional life of the youth they serve. Objectives: 1. increasing the knowledge and skills of 24 participants on creative confidence, ways to unlock and nurture it, and the DT process; 2. strengthening the potential of 24 participants by acquiring skills, identifying the principles and strategies in the above-mentioned scope; 3. increasing awareness of the importance and usefulness of creative confidence, innovations and DT for designing professional and personal life. The idea of the project arose from real challenges and needs concerning organizations in different countries: need to react quickly to changes, adapt activities to individual needs and situations, necessity to implement activities that support youth to be ready for the changing labor market. The research made by us showed the following needs for tools to work with youth in a way that will teach them to react flexibly and quickly, give space to discover and strengthen their resources and build creative confidence. Therefore, as a response, we designed this TC to care for youth workers by equipping them with knowledge, skills, and attitudes, identifying the principles and strategies allowing them and then youth they serve, to realize their creative potential in their work and personal lives, and to implement innovative approaches to problem-solving. The project is a response to the needs of youth workers, youth and organizations. Thanks to it, participants will not only learn methods and tools that develop and strengthen creative confidence, innovation and the DT methodology, but they will also design part of their professional or personal life to experience the whole process. Through case studies and meetings with inspiring people, they will see ideas, approaches, and experiences created and applied by others. This will strengthen their potential and allow them to apply the acquired competencies in their everyday activities - to help in designing the life of the youth they serve.
