The project “Journey to the Future” is a response to the need to support youth, especially those with fewer opportunities, in their personal, professional, and educational development. In today’s world, mobility, international experience, and intercultural skills are becoming essential. This project aims to provide young people with the tools and experiences that will help them navigate in a global society. The goal of the project is to enable youth, particularly those with limited access to such opportunities, to participate in international experiences that will contribute to their personal and professional growth. Participants will take part in educational journeys across Europe, gaining new language, technical, and social skills. Through this project, young people will not only get to know other cultures but also learn to interact in an international environment, create educational content, presentations, videos, and tips that will help other young people, especially those just starting out in adulthood. Our foundation's staff is experienced in working with youth, and we understand how important it is to create spaces for development and equal opportunities in the world around us. Thanks to our experience, we know how crucial it is to offer 18-year-old participants activities that help them believe in themselves and their potential. “Journey to the Future” provides a chance to have a real impact on the participants' futures, developing their skills and self-confidence, which are essential in today’s globalized world. The project also aims to increase access to education and job opportunities for youth with fewer chances. Through active participation in creating content, educational materials, guides, and videos, young people will gain digital, linguistic, and international communication competencies. Upon returning from their trips, they will be able to share their experiences and knowledge with peers, strengthening their sense of value and involvement in the development of local communities. The project also focuses on developing teamwork, public speaking, independence, and responsibility. Participants will be responsible for creating presentations, educational videos that promote Erasmus+ and DiscoverEU, and organizing workshops and events that demonstrate how to use such opportunities. These experiences will boost their self-confidence and positively impact their further professional development. “Journey to the Future” is a project that gives young people the chance to discover Europe, gain new skills, and develop personally. It also provides an opportunity to strengthen their position in the job market by acquiring experiences that are highly valued in the global economy. We are convinced that this project will not only inspire participants to take further action but also positively impact their future, enabling them to participate more fully in professional and social life. Additionally, the project aims to equip participants with knowledge about educational opportunities available in the places they visit. Participants will have the chance to learn about various educational institutions, universities, and internship programs available in the cities they travel to. Through these experiences, youth will learn how to find and apply for scholarship programs, how to take part in international internships, and what career development opportunities different universities and institutions in Europe offer. Furthermore, the project will help participants understand how Erasmus+ and DiscoverEU programs can become part of their educational and professional path. They will have the opportunity to learn how to take advantage of these opportunities and what benefits educational mobility can bring them in the future. This knowledge will allow them to make informed decisions about their further education and career and inspire them to actively seek new international experiences.
