By implementing this project, we would like to give young, talented people a chance for a unique journey along the path of music to Austria and Italy. Participants will take part in concerts - in the Vienna Philharmonic, in the Mozarthaus in Salzburg, they will visit La Scala in Milan and watch two operas. They will also visit Cremona and the famous violin workshops there. There are plans to meet peers in Austria and Italy who are also interested in music, play various instruments in various bands. All participants of the project are people with fewer opportunities - from families with low or very low economic status, people with disabilities. They all have a passion for music in common and everyone plays an instrument. Participants of the project are people involved in regular workshop activities organized by our Foundation and/or were participants in youth projects implemented by us. Since the beginning of the foundation's activity, Artchata has been implementing projects for young people and with their active participation - including, among others, ten youth exchanges within the Erasmus+ framework and bilateral projects. We are currently implementing youth exchanges as part of the accreditation granted in 2024. The members of the Board and the Program Council of our Foundation are exclusively artists, mainly musicians, including academic lecturers and teachers in secondary music schools with many years of professional experience, and this experience will allow for reliable, musical and musicological preparation of young people to participate in the project. We know all the participants personally, their needs and we are aware of the support they need. We also know their strong motivation to participate in this project. Without logistical, organizational, mentoring and financial support, none of the participants would be able to carry out such an artistic and educational journey. At the moment, we have formed two five-person groups and four people are on the reserve list. The idea of the destination, places of study visits, thematic scopes of meetings with young people and even the choice of opera titles are the authors of the participants. They will also take an active part in planning the details of travel, accommodation, meals and in dissemination activities.
