The main aim of the project is to develop professional skills and career development by providing practical learning through direct observation of experienced professionals and thus deepening knowledge of work processes, methodologies and good practices. It also aims to establish strategic partnerships between institutions and professionals and create opportunities for future collaborations and consortium projects.
BLCS wants to learn about innovative methodologies in other European libraries in order to improve its services and implement new practices that promote a better user experience. Mobility allows staff to acquire new experiences and skills, broaden their vision of librarianship and strengthen their network of international contacts. BLCS will thus reinforce its position as a cultural and educational centre of reference at European level.
