With this project we wish to develop the educational and socio-cultural skills of the staff, giving them tools to modernize AEJICS and the municipality. Through the dissemination and development of the practices learnt, it will be possible to open the horizons of our young people so that they can compete on equal terms with those from urban regions. We also want to value VET courses as a good choice and conducive to success throughout the internships and learning abroad.
The Joaquim Inácio da Cruz Sobral School Group (AEJICS) is the only one to serve a small municipality with rural characteristics. At both social and cultural levels, families and young people have low expectations for the future. When they finish compulsory school, they “flee” to neighboring, more urban municipalities, in search of better living and working conditions. It is urgent to provide AEJICS and young people with skills and experiences that help them compete in the market
