The EcoAtivistas Digitais project aims to empower young people by equipping them with digital tools and environmental knowledge to become active advocates for sustainability. From a youth work perspective, the project focuses on leadership, digital activism, and environmental responsibility, ensuring inclusivity for young people facing economic, geographical, and social barriers. The main objective is to create a network of young activists who will use digital platforms to promote environmental causes while exploring the connections between sustainability, social justice, and inclusion. By combining digital literacy and environmental education, the project will strengthen participants’ ability to advocate for change and contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive society. Another key objective is to promote intercultural learning, allowing young people from different backgrounds to collaborate, share experiences, and develop new skills. Through workshops and peer-led activities, participants will gain practical experience in activism, digital campaigning, and environmental advocacy, fostering long-term engagement in climate action at local, national, and European levels.
