Objectives

The NatureLand project aims to achieve a set of objectives focused on developing young people's skills and promoting greater environmental and social awareness. Through its implementation, it is intended to: Raise awareness and empower young people to preserve the environment and combat climate change, focusing on sustainable and conscious actions that can be applied in their communities and in the global context; Promote the active participation and civic engagement of young people, encouraging them to be agents of change in their regions and to contribute to the resolution of local and global problems, especially with regard to sustainability and rural development. Increase access to non-formal learning opportunities and mobility programmes, such as Erasmus+, offering young people from rural and urban areas the possibility to share experiences and acquire new skills in multicultural contexts. Promote international cooperation and intercultural sharing, bringing together young people from different backgrounds so that they can collaborate in creating innovative solutions to environmental and social challenges. The project responds to the needs and deficiencies of young people in Cinfães, a rural region with limited access to education and development opportunities, and aims to create a lasting impact through training for the future and promoting sustainable practices.
