Objectives

Considering that young people's mental health is a current and highly relevant issue, with YOUTH MASTERMIND we aim to train young people to be aware of their emotions and to manage them fairly, healthily and prolifically. The general aim of the project is to train young people with strategies, tools and mechanisms to develop and improve their emotional management, as a way of recovering their mental health. We have identified some of the specific objectives as: encouraging well-being and mental health practices in young people's daily lives; fostering self-knowledge and hetero-knowledge, encouraging empathy and understanding as a consequence; providing young people with an experience of participating in a European project, specifically contacting young people from a territory with active armed conflict, reinforcing the practice of European principles and values in their local and international actions.
