The "Design My City" project aims to empower young people in Faro by actively involving them in shaping inclusive, sustainable, and vibrant public spaces. The project seeks to build a platform for youth-led urban proposals that address community needs through participatory workshops, urban design laboratories, and direct dialogues with local decision-makers. Its objectives include developing key skills in urban planning, sustainability, and civic engagement; strengthening collaboration between young people, community leaders, and the Municipality of Faro; and ensuring that youth perspectives are integrated into future urban policies. Ultimately, the project strives to create lasting positive changes in the city’s environment and improve the quality of life for all residents.
