By implementing the project “Youth Create Strong Communities”, we aimed to empower young people and increase their involvement in the life of the communities they belong to. The main objective was to encourage them to become more active at local level, to express their opinions and needs, to better understand how decisions that affect them are made, and to develop ideas and initiatives through which they can contribute to improving their communities. We also aimed to develop leadership skills and critical thinking, providing young people with the tools they need to express their ideas with confidence and to advocate effectively for their principles or points of view. The project placed particular emphasis on promoting inclusion and diversity by creating a safe space where young people from different social, economic, and cultural backgrounds felt valued and fully included in the group.Another key element was strengthening civic responsibility through volunteering activities, encouraging participants to become more aware of their role in the community and inspiring them to remain actively involved in the future. Finally, we aimed to strengthen the links between young people, youth organisations, and the local administration in order to encourage continued cooperation and long-term partnerships even after the mobility had ended.
