More and more young people are facing discrimination and barriers to accessing opportunities that are readily available to others. This situation is caused by the discrimination and stigmatization these young people encounter in their daily lives, leading to their social exclusion. This exclusion is often the result of both direct and indirect discrimination targeting individuals who are part of various at-risk groups (LGBT community, minorities, people with disabilities, migrants). The growing division among people is an increasingly prevalent phenomenon, and there is a need for mutual understanding, empathy, and open dialogue to combat it and create an inclusive society where all members feel heard and respected. The project's aim is to involve 35 young people from 5 European communities (Romania, Bulgaria, Poland, Greece, Cyprus) in non-formal activities using dance to promote a deeper understanding of cultural diversity, inclusion, and active citizenship during a 10-day youth exchange in Amara, Ialomița. Objectives: O1: Increase awareness regarding the importance of inclusion and diversity among 30 young people and 5 leaders from 5 European communities (Romania, Bulgaria, Poland, Greece, Cyprus) and develop their skills through active participation over 12 months during the preparation, implementation, and follow-up phases. O2: Engage 30 young people, including 15 from disadvantaged backgrounds, supported by 5 leaders, in non-formal activities and dance-based sessions during the 10-day implementation period. O3: Develop cooperation among 5 European organizations to produce 12 results (1 flash mob, 5 short choreographies, and 6 graphic materials) created by the participants, which will be shared on social networks and are expected to reach 10,000 views by June 2026. O4: Involve, during the follow-up period, 100 young people from the 5 local communities in 5 workshops organized by the participants, where they will learn methods to promote inclusion through dance, supported by the 5 partner organizations.
