Objectives

The "Digital Democracy: Empowering Young Activists with E-Tools" project aims to equip young people with digital tools and skills to actively engage in democratic processes, advocate for human rights, and combat misinformation. Through interactive workshops, digital campaigns, and intercultural collaboration, participants will gain practical knowledge on digital advocacy, media literacy, and e-democracy platforms. Objectives: 1. Enhance digital literacy among youth, enabling them to critically analyze information and recognize disinformation. 2. Empower young people with digital tools (social media, e-petitions, digital activism) to engage in democratic participation. 3. Promote European values such as democracy, human rights, and civic responsibility through online and offline initiatives. 4. Foster inclusion and participation of young people with fewer opportunities by equipping them with skills for active civic engagement. 5. Strengthen cooperation among youth organizations from Romania, North Macedonia, Poland, Spain, and Italy, creating a lasting network for democratic youth participation. By the end of the project, participants will develop concrete digital advocacy projects, enhance their leadership in civic engagement, and create a youth-led digital awareness campaign on democracy and human rights. The project contributes to youth work practice by providing innovative, non-formal educational methods to engage young people in shaping their societies.
