We aim, through the implementation of this youth exchange project, to encourage a deeper understanding of the current challenges related to climate change and to provide participants with the necessary tools to respond effectively to these challenges. We want these young people, coming from different backgrounds—rural, urban, national, and international—to discover, practice, and implement new environmental protection strategies, starting with simple solutions that can have a real impact in their communities. Our objectives, designed from the perspective of youth work, include raising awareness of the effects of climate change, learning sustainable methods, and encouraging civic engagement and the ability to take action. Through the planned practical workshops, participants will have the opportunity to identify environmental problems they face (both at home and in the partner region), propose feasible solutions, and develop long-term skills such as proper recycling, responsible resource consumption, or the identification and implementation of local environmental protection projects. A special focus will also be placed on developing digital competencies, enabling young people to promote their messages to a wider audience through social media, blogs, and content platforms. This approach will not only help them disseminate their ideas but also familiarize them with working in a digital, collaborative, and intercultural environment—an essential skill in today's world. Furthermore, we aim to stimulate participants' creativity and innovative thinking. Through idea exchanges, teamwork discussions, and intercultural collaborations, young people will discover that they can initiate positive changes even with limited resources, as long as they use them intelligently and collaboratively. In this way, once they return to their communities, they will be better prepared to become agents of change, influencing not only the behavior of those around them but also the way local initiatives and policies evolve. Through our objectives, which are designed in the spirit of non-formal education, we ultimately seek to show young people that they themselves can become promoters of sustainable development. We want participants, at the end of the mobility, to feel more responsible toward nature, more competent in identifying ecological solutions, and more confident in their ability to make a meaningful contribution to their communities. Thus, the project will have an impact beyond the actual duration of the exchange, ensuring a solid foundation for future initiatives and greater awareness of the importance of ecological actions at the youth level.
