This project emerged from discussions within an international networking community on Slack, where partner organization leaders identified a significant decline in the well-being and happiness of youth workers. The initiative was launched by SolidDar, and after analyzing the World Happiness Report 2024, Global Circle proposed concrete actions to support youth workers. Association "Tvarumo namai", Jedi Movement, and POP Hub naturally joined, sharing the same vision: if youth workers are happy, motivated, and engaged, their impact on young people and communities will be significantly greater. Through this project, we aim to enhance the well-being and happiness of youth workers using non-formal education methods, equipping them with concrete strategies to manage stress, boost motivation, and develop essential skills such as planning and time management. We want participants to understand well-being, apply at least three effective methods in their work, and support young people in their communities, fostering a positive work environment and greater community engagement. Identified Needs: -Many youth workers lack a clear understanding of well-being or how to apply strategies to improve their happiness at work. -There is a strong need for accessible non-formal methods that enhance well-being for both themselves and the young people they work with. -Many youth workers feel they lack essential skills such as planning, time management, and self-confidence. -Additional support is needed to help youth workers apply their newly acquired competencies in youth work and pass these methods forward. We will address these needs through these objectives: 1.By the end of the 7-day mobility, participants will have a solid understanding of well-being and gain theoretical and practical knowledge on implementing at least three effective time and stress management strategies in youth work. 2.By the end of the 12-month project, 25 youth workers will develop key skills (e.g., assertive communication, time management) to implement at least three non-formal methods that improve happiness and well-being in their professional activities. 3.By the end of the 12-month project, participants will become more proactive and engaged in their communities, organizing more activities that encourage young people to take part in local initiatives. *We anticipate that participants will implement at least three activities aligned with this goal by the end of the dissemination period, integrating non-formal methods that enhance happiness and well-being among young people.
