Objectives

We hope that by implementing this project we will achieve the objectives we mentioned above, namely to offer young people new horizons regarding their educational and professional orientation, but also to offer them contexts conducive to relationships and openness to other people, with the aim to improve their communication and relationship skills, thus managing to develop from a personal point of view. I mention that all these things are very important for the young people in the target group and they are needs that I have identified over time, in the different contexts in which I had the opportunity to work with young people from the rural environment of Caras-Severin county. We remind you that the problem we outlined from the beginning with young people was the fact that they did not have contexts and models for personal, relational, educational and professional development. We want through our project to be able to offer these young people professional benchmarks that they can apply in their lives, benchmarks to refer to and which will make the choice they are faced with at the age of 18-21 easier. We want them to be able to make the wisest choice related to their future and the wishes they have regarding their future job through these milestones. Thus, we want that after benefiting from our project, young people will know much better what suits them and what they should focus on from a professional point of view. Through our project, we want to offer these young people new opportunities for educational development, and for this we will mainly rely on the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ programs. We want to offer these young people not only the theoretical part, i.e. the fact that there are many programs specially created for them, but we also want to offer them contexts in which they can taste the Erasmus+ experience and thus gain the courage and gain the motivation to get more involved far in such projects. Thus, we want young people to be much more open to apply and benefit from other Erasmus+ programs, so that through this we can contribute to their education and thus combat the various risks they are prone to as a result of the geographical obstacles they face. Through our project, we want to create a framework in which to build friendships, in order to train the ability to relate and manage relationships of the young beneficiaries of the project. We want to make the group of beneficiaries a group of good friends, so that the participants feel this experience as a trip together with friends, thus they are much more motivated to be present and active throughout the trip and to be stimulated in this way to make the most of the trip and, therefore, to learn more from this trip. Also, we want that through these friendships made within the mobilities, the young beneficiaries acquire certain methods and tools for relating and managing different situations that they can later apply in their relationships with the people around them, so they managing to develop also from a relational point of view. Moreover, we want through our project to create a beneficial framework for the personal development of young people. This framework will be created primarily by the fact that we will engage the young people in a journey, offering them a context that will train them in their personal independence. Also, through these trips, young people will be able to find many answers to questions that many young adults have, questions related to their own person to which they have not been able to find an answer until now. Thus, young people will get to know each other much better from a personal point of view, the trip being a context in which to learn more about how they react in different situations or what can contribute to their personal well-being in different contexts and unforeseen moments. So we proposed these two trips of 21 days each for 10 young people with the aim of developing several skills such as self knowledge skills, social skills, cultural skills, relational skills, leadership and group management skills, but also educational skills. Therefore, we hope that through our project we will be able to open young people to the new, to make them look optimistically towards the future and to show them that there are solutions for any problem and that the fact that we are European citizens opens up many opportunities for us to we succeed.
