The U-HIRES project strengthens HEI capacities through international collaboration, integrating UAV-based environmental monitoring, AI-driven climate analysis, and GIS-based urban planning. Partnering universities—Belgrade, Maribor, and Rijeka—enhance research, modernize education, and support student mobility. The project develops an advanced UHI monitoring system, improves climate resilience, fosters academia-industry cooperation, and promotes sustainable urban planning across Europe.
