Objectives

The SAFE-STEPS project aims to create safer public spaces for young women by addressing gender-based violence (GBV) through awareness, empowerment, and advocacy. We aim to elevate societal awareness of GBV by highlighting its structural causes and promoting proactive prevention strategies. Also, the project empowers young women by equipping them with assertive response skills, self-confidence, and emotional intelligence, enabling them to be in public spaces safely.
